Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed and Unarmed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security for our premises, personnel, and assets. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent conflict management skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. The Armed Guard will be expected to enforce security protocols while providing a visible presence to deter potential threats.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activities.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, maintaining clear communication.
• Manage conflicts effectively, de-escalating situations while ensuring the safety of all individuals involved.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment (CCTV).
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Proven conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and practices.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
