Job Title: Boat Sales Professional

Salary: Commission

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Boat Sales Representative to work with our team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for boating, excellent customer service skills, and a proven track record in sales. This role involves guiding customers through the purchasing process, building lasting relationships, and achieving sales targets while providing an exceptional buying experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing pre-owned (and eventually new) boats based on their needs and preferences.
• Provide detailed information on boat features, specifications, and pricing.
• Conduct boat demonstrations and sea trials when necessary.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
• Stay informed about current market trends, competitors, and industry advancements.
• Handle inquiries, negotiate terms, and close sales effectively.
• Coordinate with the finance and service departments to ensure seamless transactions.
• Maintain an updated inventory and keep the showroom and docks organized and presentable.
• Participate in boat shows, events, and other promotional activities to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
• Follow up with potential customers through calls, text, email, and in-person meetings.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales, preferably in the marine, automotive, or luxury goods industry.
• Understanding of different types of boats and marine equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
• Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
• NASBLA boaters card and/or experience operating boats (preferred but not required).
