We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class A Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class A vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
Requirements:Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.
