Job Title: Drafter/Designer – Structural Construction (Commercial & Residential)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Drafter/Designer with a strong background in creating structural construction drawings for commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and proficient in both AutoCAD and Revit .
Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate and detailed structural construction drawings for commercial and residential buildings.
- Interpret architectural and engineering plans, sketches, and specifications to develop drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with building codes and standards.
- Revise drawings based on feedback and markups.
- Maintain drawing organization, file management, and version control.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (MEP, Architectural, Civil) when necessary.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in structural drafting/design for commercial and residential construction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required.
- Strong knowledge of structural systems, building codes, and construction documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering/architectural drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with structural engineers or in a structural engineering firm.
- Familiarity with local building codes and permit processes.
- Associate degree or technical certification in drafting, engineering technology, or related field.
