Primrose School of Forney at Gateway located at 1451 Whaley Drive Forney, TX 75216 is seeking a Leadership Team Member!

As Leadership Team Member at Primrose School of Forney at Gateway, your dedication to the success of our next generation will ensure we deliver on our mission of bringing the best and most trusted early childhood education and care to the families we serve.

You will support teachers through ongoing professional development with a focus on Balanced Learning curriculum implementation and continuous improvement for teachers and students.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assists the Executive Director with the necessary management responsibilities
- Assists in keeping school physically well kept, attractive, and safe
- Ability to perform all of the essential functions for each position in the School, including, but not limited to, other leadership team positions, teacher, food service teacher, and bus driver
- Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions
- Maintains overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in the Primrose School of Forney at Gateway Employee Handbook
- Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School of Forney at Gateway and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children
- Assists in other capacities that Executive Director, or designee, determines is necessary
Desired skills and experience:
- Must be 21+ years old
- Must be able to drive the Primrose bus (CDL not required)
- Must be able to close the school (6:30PM)
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Must be able to work all school events (some may fall on weekends)
- Must meet requirements of local child care regulatory agency and Primrose School of Forney at Gateway
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations

Make a difference every day!
- Participate in the selection and hiring of teaching staff.
- Coordinate with other members of the Leadership Team to implement the training plan for new teaching staff.
- Conduct classroom observations to regularly support and ensure the implementation and delivery of the research-informed Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum.
- Create a culture of engagement by empowering teachers to find solutions for themselves.
