Title - Entity Compliance & Privacy Officer

State - Texas

Position Description:

This role oversees and administers hospital compliance and privacy programs in alignment with company policies, serving as Chair of the Entity Compliance and Privacy Committee. The position leads communication of compliance priorities to senior leadership, the Board of Trustees, and staff; develops and implements compliance and privacy education; and collaborates with the Central Business Office and Billing Compliance Committee on Chargemaster and billing matters. The role requires strong knowledge of the Company Code of Business Ethics, close coordination with the Privacy Officer on system-wide privacy initiatives, and leadership of department teams in managing audits and other compliance-related activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5 Years experience in increasingly responsible positions in a multi-hospital environment including experience in compliance and health information privacy regulations, policies and processes
• Understanding of revenue cycle and reimbursement for federally funded programs and private payers
• Prior compliance officer and privacy officer experience
• CHC – Certified in Healthcare Compliance upon hire preferred; within 12 months required.
