A. PRIMARY DUTIES:

* Assist with equipment breakdown and repair calls

* Support senior technicians in diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical issues

* Assist Maintenance Team Leader with improvement projects as directed

* Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

* Gain hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting industrial compressed air systems

B. OTHER: (e.g. authorizations, authority to issue directives, information rights):

* Follow directives of the Maintenance Team Leader and senior technicians

* No authority to issue directives or make maintenance-related decisions without approval

* Access to maintenance logs, service reports, and equipment documentation as necessary for support tasks.

1. Quality and Environmental System Responsibilities:

* Adhere to company safety policies, OSHA standards, and environmental procedures while working on equipment.

* Ensure proper documentation and accuracy of maintenance/service reports

* Use tools and materials responsibly to minimize waste and support environmental goals

D. DUTIES NOT TO BE CARRIED OUT:

* No authorization to independently perform major repairs without supervision.

* No authority to make equipment modifications or purchase parts without approval

* Accuracy and timeliness of maintenance documentation

* Responsiveness and support during equipment breakdowns

* Successful completion of assigned projects or tasks

* Safety – following all procedures and maintaining a safe work environment

1. REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
2. Education:

• Enrolled in a Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related technical program

1. Experience:

• No prior experience required; hands-on technical coursework or lab experience preferred
• OSHA certification strongly preferred

1. Knowledge and skills:

• Strong mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn technical skills

• Ability to safely use hand and power tools

• Basic computer skills; ability to convert US to metric measurements
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work independently when assigned
• Comfortable working in industrial environments, confined spaces, and at heights
