We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing clients' needs, delivering tailored treatments, and promoting overall wellness through therapeutic massage. Your expertise in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will be essential in ensuring effective pain management and recovery for our clients.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans.
* Provide high-quality massage therapy services including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
* Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address specific pain management concerns.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
* Offer exceptional customer service to create a welcoming environment for clients.
* Stay updated on the latest techniques and trends in the field of massage therapy.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care.
* Ensure compliance with occupational health standards and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
*Requirements*
* Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
* Experience in providing deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic modalities.
* Excellent patient service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
* Previous experience in a med spa setting is preferred but not required.
* Ability to assess patient needs effectively and develop appropriate treatment plans.
* Strong communication skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of massage therapy.
*Pay:* $40-$70 per hour

Qualifications
Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy (as required by state law)
Proficiency in a variety of massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, etc.)
Ability to customize treatments based on client needs and preferences
Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Professional demeanor and commitment to maintaining a clean and relaxing environment
Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and every other Saturday
Physical stamina to perform multiple massages per shift
Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with other providers
