  Note: Only one intern per site is allowed per group.

Job Summary

As a Medical Assistant Intern, you will have the opportunity to observe and support a high-performing clinical team. This unpaid internship provides exposure to both administrative and clinical operations within a fast-paced urgent care and primary care setting. You will gain valuable experience to complement your academic training and build a foundation for your healthcare career.

Primary Responsibilities

• Shadow and support Medical Assistants and site staff in daily clinical workflows

• Assist with room preparation, patient flow, and non-invasive clinical procedures (as allowed)

• Observe administrative tasks such as check-in/out, EMR documentation, and scheduling

• Learn and follow clinic protocols, compliance, and hygiene standards

• Uphold Nao Medical’s standards for professionalism, compassion, and efficiency

• Participate in ongoing feedback and coaching from clinical leaders

Eligibility and Onboarding RequirementsAll candidates must:

• Currently enrolled in a Medical Assistant or healthcare-related academic program

• Complete an In-Clinic Interview with the Site Manager

  Provide the following documents before onboarding:

• Copy of Driver’s License or Legal ID / Passport

• Copy of Student ID

• Copy of Transcript

• TB Skin Test and Immunization Records (for direct patient care)

• Hepatitis B Vaccination Proof or Declination Form (for direct patient care)
