Salary: $14.00 - $16.00 an hour DOE

Position:Medical Canvass Investigator

About the Opportunity: Medical Canvass Investigators create assignments utilizing various databases and online resources to prepare for each case. Individuals must demonstrate strong verbal and written communications skills and exhibit a professional demeanor in all situations and must be self-motivated and highly independent.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Communicates with approximately 60-90 different types of medical facilities on a daily basis, including but not limited to, hospitals, walk-in clinics, pharmacies and medical specialists in the community.
• Ability to establish rapport with individuals to obtain necessary information.
• Prepares accurate and detailed written reports and in compliance with corporate standard operating procedures and guidelines documenting investigative results.

Qualifications:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to utilize proper protocol and investigative skills to locate the proper information for each file.
• Self-motivated, determined and ability to work independently.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• PC literate, including all Microsoft products.
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to remain in a seated position for extended periods of time
• Must have mental dexterity with ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, keyboards, and mouse

Schedule: Monday-Friday 11am-8pm EST
