Job Title: MuleSoft Developer
Location: Lenexa, KS

Job Summary: 
System One is seeking a MuleSoft Developer for a long-term, hybrid-onsite opportunity in Lenexa, KS. The MuleSoft Developer builds, enhances, and supports integrations across digital-transformation platforms using MuleSoft Anypoint and API-led best practices. This role is hands-on across the full API lifecycle—design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and optimization—and works closely with business users, BAs, and system owners to deliver secure, resilient, reusable integrations.
Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain real-time/near-real-time APIs and ETL-style data integrations using MuleSoft (CloudHub/CloudHub 2.0) and reusable components aligned to API-led architecture.
• Configure and support integrations for Salesforce, ServiceNow, NetSuite, Dayforce, and internal applications.
• Build and optimize API flows, connectors, mappings, and error-handling frameworks.
• Develop and enhance scheduled enterprise integrations and ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Conduct detailed analysis of existing integrations to identify improvements in security, resiliency, and performance.
• Implement and support deployments using Azure DevOps Services (repos, branching, CI/CD pipelines) in alignment with DevSecOps practices.
• Unit test, validate, and release integrations across non-prod, production, and DR environments.
• Maintain documentation, mapping specs, and architectural standards; contribute to component reuse.
• Collaborate with fellow developers and SMEs to clarify requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure alignment with data and integration strategies.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of software or integration engineering experience (MuleSoft CloudHub required; Java/.NET/API background preferred).
• Strong hands-on experience with Anypoint Studio, API-led design, RAML/OAS, and MuleSoft deployment models.
• Experience with CloudHub/CloudHub 2.0 operational best practices (DLBs, SSL/TLS termination, custom domains, whitelisting, HA configuration).
• Familiarity with messaging technologies ( RabbitMQ , Anypoint MQ, or ActiveMQ).
• Proven troubleshooting, performance tuning, and environment evaluation skills.
• Experience using Azure DevOps Services in Azure cloud for Git repos and CI/CD release pipelines.
• Strong documentation habits and ability to collaborate in cross-functional design sessions.
• Growth-oriented mindset with interest in progressing toward senior engineering or integration architecture roles.
