Summary

An Office Manager will achieve a world class Total Patient Experience that both maximizes retail sales and supports patients medical needs. The Manager is responsible for overall sales and profitability of an office location, managing all operations including team support, merchandising, inventory, training, and safety. Execution of Total Patient Experience (TPE) drives revenue and profitability. The role requires independent judgment in managing the entire retail operation. A Licensed Office Manager will possess a State Opticians License where required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct and execute overall sales and profitability of an individual office location through effective execution of Total Patient Experience (TPE).
• Develop and maintain a good working relationship with doctor/doctors associated with the office location and serve as liaison between doctor and office team.
• Human Resource Management: Recruitment, selection, training, coaching, and development of team members, including KPI scorecard coaching.
• Conduct performance reviews and compensation evaluations for the office team.
• Exercise judgment and utilize tools to achieve revenue and EBITDA growth.
• Motivate team members by remaining positive and communicating changes or news in a supportive and constructive way.
• Maintain facility to corporate standards, including building, equipment, parking lot, grounds, safety rules, HIPAA & OSHA requirements, hazardous material handling, and waste disposal.
• Monitor and enforce company cash handling policies and procedures, including petty cash, as outlined by accounting; submit required financial documents accurately and on schedule.
• Execute day?to?day operations of the office by ensuring the following are completed: Team member scheduling, weekly meetings, report generation, inventory assessment, supply ordering, and team member training.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Industry related experience will be beneficial.
• Management experience required.
• Favorable result on background check as required by state.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• HSD or GED.
• ABO, NCLE, LDO could be preferred.

LICENSES AND CREDENTIALS

• None.

SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

LOCATION

• Work is primarily performed in a standard office or clinical setting. Travel to other locations may be required to carry out essential duties.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• This role requires a variety of physical activities to effectively perform essential job functions. The position involves frequent walking (75%), sitting (50%), and standing (50%), with regular bending, stooping, and reaching (2550%). Employees must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 lbs. Strong fine motor skills and full use of hands are essential, as the role demands constant grasping, writing/typing, and use of technology. Visual and auditory acuityincluding color, depth, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focusis required 100% of the time. Occasional driving or climbing may also be necessary.
