Job Description

Job Summary BMW of North Haven has an immediate opening for a Parts Counter Associate to join our team. The individual in this role will serve as a liaison between customers and parts personnel, stocking parts, and assisting in sales and inventory. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years previous parts counter experience and a passion for customer service. Compensation & Benefits This is a full time position with an hourly base rate plus commission. We offer very competitive wages commensurate with parts experience. Pay range $55,000 - $85,000 based on experience. The position offers dental, vision, and health insurance. Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and answer queries over the phone, interact directly with customers, technicians or in person as required
• Assist customers in selecting the correct parts/accessories they need
• Provide exceptional customer service daily
• Inspect all parts for defects and ensure quality
• Verify order accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Stock, organize, and rotate all merchandise
• Maintain cleanliness of the parts counter
• Perform daily tasks assigned by the Parts Manager

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous Parts Counter experience (5 years minimum)
• Knowledge of automobile parts and inventory
• Excellent customer service skills
• Organizational and problem solving skills
• Be dependable, reliable and have a positive attitude
• Ability to lift and move product items up to 60 pounds
