Job Title : Remote Medical Coder – ED & Outpatient

Location : Bronx, NY

Duration : 3+ Months

Education : High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Shift Details : 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Specific Skills :

• Perform medical coding in an acute care hospital setting
• Assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes accurately
• Code Emergency Department and Outpatient encounters
• Ensure compliance with payer and federal billing guidelines
• Utilize EPIC EMR and 3M encoder systems
• Research and resolve coding-related issues
• Maintain productivity and accuracy standards
• Support training and quality initiatives
• CCS or CPC Certification (Required)
• Strong Inpatient Coding knowledge
• Hands-on experience with EPIC and 3M
• Proficiency in ICD-10 coding

• We are actively hiring an experienced Certified Medical Coder to support Outpatient and Emergency Department (ED) coding operations in Bronx, NY.

This position begins with 1–2 weeks of onsite training and then transitions to a remote work arrangement once workflow competency is achieved
