Job Description
The RN - Endoscopy Level 3 provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. This position requires advanced clinical skills and the ability to respond to complex patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures and provide education regarding the process.
Assist physicians during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Monitor vital signs, sedation levels, and respond to adverse reactions.
Perform post-procedure care, discharge instructions, and documentation.
Follow infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Requirements:
Valid NYS RN License.
BLS and ACLS certification.
