Rural Postal Carrier Opportunity U.S. Postal Service is looking for a rural postal carrier to run a route, full time or part time, depending on your schedule. Great job with freedom and working on your own. You will stand on your feet anywhere from 1 to 2 hours sorting mail and parcels of all sizes up to 70 lbs. inside the office, including magazines, large envelopes, and letter mail. Attention to detail is a must. You will deliver to mailboxes and houses on a specified route. You will get in and out of a vehicle frequently. Shifts start at 7:00 am and are done when the route is finished. Shift days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Shifts could be any day Monday through Saturday. Shifts start at 7:00 am and average 6 hours a day depending on the volume of mail and parcels each day. As you learn the route, you will get extremely faster. This is a rural contracted route for Winston and surrounding area back to Canyon Ferry Road. You supply the route vehicle, we supply vehicle fuel, repairs, upkeep, and federal insurance on the vehicle. Perks: Work on your own, and at your own pace that offers a flexible schedule and nice work atmosphere. Base pay: $140.00 per dayshift and will be discussed during the interview process. Qualifications: Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions, which sometimes can be extreme. Candidate must also have a clean driving record. Position is contingent upon successfully passing a drug screen and fingerprinting.
