As a Security Officer - Power Plant EMT in Ogden, UT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for covering various areas throughout the site. Pay Rate: $26.70 / Hour

DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

    Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity encountered during patrols.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance as needed.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while performing duties.
  • Document all activities, observations, and incidents according to Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Have experience with access control and/or badge systems.
  • Possess a state, county, or city issued security-related license.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
