Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr We’re looking for highly experienced IT/SRE professionals in Sunnyvale/San Jose. The SRE builds and runs developer and production systems, enabling internal teams, partners, and customers to be productive while minimizing downtime. Experience with hardware, automation, production environments, and large-scale systems is required. The SRE will be required to come into the office and nearby colocation facilities to maintain hardware. The SRE is comfortable working under pressure and in situations where rapid fixes to maintain uptime are needed. Responsibilities Design, write, and deliver systems that maintain uptime and reliability Install, maintain, and upgrade hardware Monitor developer and production infrastructure Deep understanding of server hardware and experience in datacenters Experience with VMware vSphere and vCloud Experience with Python, bash scripting Experience with containerization (Docker, containerd) and Orchestration (Kubernetes) Experience with AWS and/or Azure Experience with Prometheus and Grafana Familiarity with C/C++, Rust, Go, and/or Julia Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Kubernetes is preferred Certifications like CompTIA A+, Azure Engineer are preferred Government clearance is preferred About Bolt Bolt Graphics is a semiconductor startup based in Sunnyvale, CA building the fastest and most efficient graphics processors.
