The Opportunity
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. DevOps Engineer to join our team for a global healthcare client specializing in diagnostics, medical devices, nutrition, and pharmaceuticals. This role is based in Plano, TX and requires onsite work from day one. The position is ideal for professionals with expertise in Azure-based DevOps practices and application-focused development.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions to develop application deployment strategies.


• Mentor team members on best practices for CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.


• Drive automation initiatives to improve development and deployment workflows.

Job Description: 

• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to build and deploy applications seamlessly.


• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues through root cause analysis.


• Automate workflows and processes using Shell scripting, Python, and RESTful APIs.


• Utilize Azure DevOps, Azure Web Apps, Function Apps, Key Vaults, and Azure PostgreSQL for application development and deployment.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide innovative solutions and drive efficiency.


• Deliver results as an independent contributor with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications

• 
  
  
  
  • 10+ years of DevOps experience with a focus on application development.
  
  
  • 5+ years of experience with:
  
  
  • CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
  
  
  • Shell and Python scripting for automation.
  
  
  • Building and deploying applications in Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
  
  
  • RESTful API development and maintenance.
  
  
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and contribute innovative ideas.
