How you will create an impact: Utilize accounting principles and techniques to analyze data from various business types to assist in quantifying and measuring commercial business insurance claims. Work with a team and supervisors, receiving mentorship during the introduction to forensic accounting or further development of forensic experience. Familiarity with Commercial Property and Cyber Coverages and their applications. Collaborate with subject matter experts and incorporate their findings into loss measurements. Compute alternative measurement methods to aid in claim settlements. Maintain good organizational and communication skills to track and document claim progress. Be detail-oriented, problem-solving, self-motivated, proactive, and forward-thinking. Some travel may be required. What we’re looking for: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Solid knowledge of accounting and auditing theories and their applications. 3+ years of insurance loss analysis experience preferred. Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. CPA certification or prerequisites to sit for the CPA exam are preferred. Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
